Quo is a phone system with AI added. Central is an AI receptionist, full stop.
Stop working around a feature. Start using a front desk built for the job.
Never miss another call.

The goal isn't a phone system with an AI add-on. It's a front desk that works.
Quo is a well-built business phone system. Its shared numbers, team messaging, and collaboration tools are genuinely useful for growing teams, and its AI receptionist feature, Sona, launched in April 2025 as a way to handle calls automatically inside the Quo platform. For teams that are already in Quo and want basic AI call answering, Sona does the job. It is a good feature inside a good phone product.
Central is not a phone system. It is an AI receptionist, built from the ground up to do one thing: handle your front desk. Answer every call, book every appointment, capture every lead, and route callers to a live person when needed. No phone plan required to get started. No per-call overage to watch. No English-only limitation to work around.
No commitment
No migration required.
Sona is a feature. Central is a front desk.
Sona was built to add AI call answering to a phone system. That framing shapes everything about it. It is an add-on, priced per call, stacked on top of a Quo phone subscription you are already paying for. And it comes with constraints a dedicated receptionist platform doesn't carry.
Sona only supports English. If any meaningful portion of your callers speak Spanish, French, Mandarin, or any other language, Sona cannot help them. There is no workaround and no multilingual option on the roadmap that has been publicly disclosed.
Appointment booking in Sona connects to Google Calendar only. If your business uses Calendly, Cal.com, or another scheduling system, Sona cannot book directly into it.
And you cannot trial Sona before committing to a Quo phone plan. The seven-day free trial covers the phone system. The AI receptionist is not included.
What this means in practice:
Sona costs $49/month for 100 calls, on top of your Quo phone subscription ($19 to $47/user/month). At 100 calls, you are spending $68 to $96/month total before additional users or numbers.
At 200 calls, the combined cost is $98 to $126/month, approaching or exceeding Central's Growth tier, with per-call billing that varies every month
Any Spanish-speaking caller who reaches Sona receives a response in English only
Booking an appointment requires the caller to already be using Google Calendar. Calendly and Cal.com are not supported.
You must commit to a Quo phone plan before you can test whether Sona handles your calls the way you need
Central reads your business. Then it answers your calls.
Central connects to your website and calendar and starts handling calls the same day you sign up. No phone subscription required. No per-call math. No language ceiling.
Every call that comes in becomes an outcome delivered.
Your front desk stops being a feature you're working around and starts being a system that runs.
What this means in practice:
A new inquiry arrives in any language and Central answers it, qualifies the caller, and logs the lead automatically
A booking request comes in and Central checks your Calendly, Cal.com, or Google Calendar and confirms the appointment during the call
A caller goes off-script and Central transfers to a live team member automatically, no configuration required
Post-call summaries are waiting for you after every conversation
Your monthly cost is fixed before the month starts, regardless of how many calls come in or how long they run

You don't have to leave Quo. Just let Central handle your calls.
Central and Quo are not the same product and they do not have to replace each other.
Quo handles your team phone system: shared numbers, messaging, internal collaboration. Central handles your front desk: inbound calls answered, appointments booked, leads captured. Many businesses run both. You keep your Quo number and route inbound calls through Central. Your team keeps using Quo for everything else.
Getting Central live takes five minutes. Paste your website URL, connect your calendar, set your call rules. Central reads your site, trains on your content, and starts answering calls. Most businesses are live the same day they sign up.
There is no migration and no cutover required. There is just the moment when your calls start being handled by something built for that job.

Don't take our word for it
"We use Quo for our team phone lines and it works great. But Sona wasn't cutting it as a receptionist: English only, per-call billing, and it couldn't connect to Calendly. We switched to Central for inbound calls and now every caller gets helped in their language, every appointment goes directly into our calendar, and I know exactly what I'm paying each month."
